Bills musical career began very early in life. At the age of 3 he made his way to the stage at a Christmas Party and sang Jingle Bells. At around age 10 his mom got a piano and they spent many evenings singing and playing. Songs then consisted of christian songs that were popular. One of the greatest things his mom taught him during these times around the piano, was to harmonize with her.
The last 2 years of high school, Bill sang with a quartet called 'The Gospel Heirs'. This group was a very popular group and sang almost every weekend.
After high school, Bill enlisted in the United States Navy where he was selected to sing in the coveted Blue Jacket Choir. He spent 6 years as a Petty Officer working as a Cryptologic Technician Operations, being stationed in Pensacola FL, Honolulu, HI and Adak, Alaska.
Bill spent the next years singing as both a Soloist and with several groups along the way. Bill joined the Gospel Echoes out of Akron Oh in 2006. This was a very popular regional group that kept very busy. Hearing problems got the best of him and he left the group in 2009.
As his hearing got worse he went to a world renowned hearing specialist. They fitted him with a BAHA hearing aid which began to help a lot. Then things took a turn for the worst. He was very ill for almost 6 years, almost dying 3 times, and THEN on March 19th 2020 the call came that EVERY parent dreads, His Son had been murdered by his roommate!. Telling how this life changing event led from great anger at God to forgiving and renewal is uplifting to everyone who hears. Testimony about what God has done for Him through the years is an integral part of the Ministry. ..Now in better health and spirits, Bill has been performing as a soloist,. 'All my life I prayed for a Music Partner and Soulmate. God sent me Patti! ' She is quickly learning songs, BUT more important is Her Testimony - The youngest of 7 , leaving home at 14 and getting saved at the age of 17, her life story is sure to be inspiring to young women nationwide! Bill and Patti make up Precious Memories Ministries.
Bill and Patti will be testifying about God's great grace and singing songs to praise the Lord, with a unique style and genre of songs – mostly well-known Country style Gospel songs and hymns – will have audiences clapping their hands, tapping their toes and singing and praising right along with them! What lies ahead for Bill and Patti? Their future rests securely in God’s hands.
But one thing is for sure. Wherever they go, and whatever they do, they will be giving their heart and soul to the people God loves, for the love of Jesus. That’s the way it was, the way it is, and the way it always will be.
